Domain names are automatically renewed by the automated Registry system upon reaching the expiration date, whether or not the renewal fees have been paid. This is term Autorenewal, and is a feature built into the automated Registry.

A domain name may also be manually renewed prior to the expiration date by any accredited registrar or by the Registry itself.
