Transfers between Registrars automatically occur after 5 days if not explicitly denied by the losing (existing) Registrar. This is term the Transfer Grace Period and is currently set to 5 days. During this time period, the losing Registrar has the opportunity to DENY the transfer for any reason. During this time, the domain name will display a "PENDING TRANSFER" status.
