The domain name is considered to be registered to either an individual or an organization, who becomed the Registrant for that domain name. The Registrant has the final and full authority for the applicable domain name, and accepts full responsibility and user rights that come with the use and support for that domain name for the time period that its registration is valid.

The Registrant Contact ID represents the biographical details of the Registrant, which are used by the Registry to validate the Registrant and settle disputes as to who is the legal Registrant of a domain name.
