An IP Address is a numerical address on the Internet, which allows you to locate a specific computer or Web site.  Every machine on the Internet has a unique, numerical assignment that allows computers and hosts on the Internet to locate it (For example: 208.34.25.130).  Usually, if a machine does not have an IP Address, it is not officially available on the Internet.
